If we can identify the area clearly enough and access it, we can organize the search without you being there. We can coordinate it with you, your accommodation or an authorized person who is still in the area.
If we recover the jewelry, we will agree on a safe way to return it: a handover on the Costa Brava, collection by an authorized person or shipping when practical.

The characteristics of the ring or piece of jewellery and how precisely we can locate the loss help us define the search area. An item lost beside a towel calls for a different approach from one noticed missing after walking along a beach or swimming in a cove.
We also consider how much time has passed and what may have changed since then. Waves, shifting sand, the type of seabed and access to the location all influence how a search can be carried out on each beach or cove along the Costa Brava.

We can assess searches along the shoreline and in shallow water. Tell us the approximate location, how it happened and the depth you remember. With this information and the sea conditions, we can explain how we may be able to help.
Can you search if several days have passed?
We can assess the case. Tell us when and where it happened, and whether you know of any changes to the ground or conditions at the location since then.
What if I cannot remember the exact spot?
You can contact us even if you did not save the location. Send us the details you remember: the beach or cove access, where you were, the route you took or photos of the area. We will review whether these details allow us to narrow down a reasonable search area.
Do you also search gardens, estates and private villas?
Yes. We also assess losses in gardens, patios, estates and the outdoor areas of villas and accommodation on the Costa Brava. We need to understand how the loss happened and coordinate access with the person responsible for the property.
Can you organise the search if I have already returned home?
We can assess the case even if you have already left. We will review the available details and whether access can be arranged through your accommodation or an authorised person. If we recover the item, we will confirm its identification with you and agree how to return it.
How soon could you carry out the search?
Contact us as soon as possible with the town and details of the loss. We will confirm availability, taking into account travel, access and conditions at the location. For searches along the shoreline or in the water, we also consider the state of the sea.
Is recovery guaranteed?
We cannot guarantee that the item will be found. We assess each case using the available information and explain how we propose to carry out the search.
